Get the bread and milk! The storm is coming

We live in the upper midwest and the winters can be brutal. We recently had a rather extended extremely cold period along with snow. We thought we had prepared but we still had situations with snow and ice damns. We couldn't get to the roof or window wells in our home because the snow just kept coming. We had water running down the walls in our second floor and our basement for days as did our neighbors. We had freezing and thawing pipes for weeks too. It was a mess until we called SERVPRO of Dekalb county. Our neighborhood had been hit be a tornado in 2011 and we had all experince with them before thru that situation. Their crews came out, surveyed the situation and got right to work. They had a plan of action for each of us and kept us informed throughout the process. We all were happy and back to normal withing a few days. We are now ready for the next crazy weather that Mother Nature throws at us.
